I don't see what cars and sexual orientation have in common.
We're not old enough yet to have a mid life crisis lol

I doubt too many people on our 86 forum would be a homo hater. The same probably couldn't be said for the camaro/mustang forums though :P

Who gives a shit who someone loves, boinks, whatever. Fucking ridiculous.

However I can't picture a really effeminate guy (I know many gay people aren't that way) driving a race car.

Small minded people can think what they want; it doesn't change who I am.

Gays are still people. And people like cars. No issue here for me. I do have a lot of friends that drive miatas and I just hear them get teased for being "gay" tho.

I'll usually be the first one to make a Miata=gay joke, but its just that - a joke. Other people's sexual orientation has literally zero effect on my life, I just don't really care what kind of people/objects/whatever other people might want to rub their genitals on.

Huh? The going joke is, straight men don't Miata. That's about it! As for being gay, well...I am a lesbian trapped in a man's body!

it is rare for gays to be really into the car culture..but i know for a fact that there are gays in every part of society and i dont really give a crap. If i met a gay guy/girl at a race or car show i would treat him/her exactly the same as anyone else and i HOPE that anyone who wants to be part of this hobby/sport can feel like one of the group no matter what:happy0180:

So weird that he would tell u that if u didn't ask. Its kinda like people who r adopted that tell u they were when u didn't care. Gay or adopted I don't care, it makes no difference to me

Dammit! And I thought I'd heard the end of the "gay" connotations when I got rid of the Miata! Well, at least there are quite a bit less now, anyway.

Doubtful. I've come to the conclusion the majority of 86 Owners are the new Z33/34 Owners. Douchebag Hard-Parker's. Care more about the look than the feel.
