It would be so stupid for Toyota to spend the time and money to co-develop this car and then purposely not sell it in their biggest market (north america). Unless they have some kind of agreement with Subaru that Subaru gets exclusive right to sell their version of this car in the US, I don't see the Toyota version being sold only in Japan/Europe.

I highly doubt there will be a Subaru AWD variant. To do so would undercut sales of their own 'hero' car, the WRX...

Not if the awd 2+2 coupe looks better. Especially since the typical WRX driver is a young guy, he probably cares more about the car's looks than having 2 extra doors and more backseat space.
