the jdm lights are premium looks with a premium price. i wouldnt mind seeing some alts that are much more affordable.

cheap aftermarket headlights are a terrible way to go with cheap seals, terrible projectors (if they even use projectors) , and plastic lenses that will fade and bubble within a couple years (learned from firsthand experience) best option other than gt86/brz lights are a retrofit... im not retrofitting as im really really certain i want gt86 lights

i bought new headlights for my benz, the florida sun melted them within a year and a half, stuck the stocks back in, never had an issue. Those headlights werent cheap either.

I know exactly what you mean and I've been wondering about the same thing. So many people want to get rid of the ugly chrome housing our cars came with and it appears that the only alternative is to custom paint it (which I have no balls or skills to do) or go all out and retrofit, and with my technical skills - forget about it. I would think a lot of companies will look into this and find an opportunity to capitalize on the demand for a more affordable and practical alternative. Rick
