Thanks for the feedback guys!
I DO plan on getting a header this spring since my car will be doing most of its duty in STX Class and I promised to lay some Miata-smack down this year! Scott |

With the non-resonated catback, the sound was something like my porsche cayman. Then with the catted front pipe and the overpipe, the sound became much more refine and has a really nice bark to it. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u2HuxhtLYn4"]FR-S dyno day - YouTube[/ame] my dyno day at evasive. bad factor of judging sound but I believe I had one of the loudest exhausts there (in a good way) and absolutely no drone. Don't want to come out as a fan boy or anything but I hate drone and had a few buddies with droning exhausts (my ears wanted to bleed) and I was relieved when I didn't have any drone really crappy video... Catted front pipes are a DEFINITE must. Anything catless has a hint of rasp in it. I've started always running cats not just because of keeping the air clean, but the sound. It refines it quite a bit. Listen to the Borla UEL on FT-86 Speedfactory with the invidia catted front pipe. Sounds really insane on their V1. Catted is definitely the way to go unless you enjoy some nasty sounds in the exhaust.
