I haven't given the sales guy a review to Scion yet, so that's probably the only lever...

Yep. The survey is a real killer. My customers don't believe me when I tell them exactly how important this survey is.

I had two sets of customers give me bad scores. This brought my score below acceptable. I didn't get paid for three months.

You can definitely use the survey as leverage but I would try to recoup as much as you can before you play this card. Try to use it as a last resort after you have exhausted all other options.

Didnt get paid for 3 months? Commissions? WTF?

I'd be looking for a different sales job regardless.

I always give salespeople 10/10 across the board unless they were straight out bad. The Japanese brands in particular seem hell bent on the image of perfection and I am sure there is an element of fear there where sales and service feedback reports are concerned.

Three months not getting paid is nuts. Sounds like you are willing to pay to work at your job, man. Kinda sad, reminds me of selling Mazdas in 1989/1990. Im going through hell right now at work on commission sales but I've been through ups and downs.

Yep. It was painfull. I get paid a small amount from Subaru and a small amount from the dealer. They were three of my best months here. Sucked.

The customers were upset with our Finance Dept and the time associated with the transaction. It was due to a new operating system that the Finance Dept was just learning and a very bad Finance Mgr that no longer works here. They blamed it on me. They were very mean people. Not at all like my "usual" Suby customers.

As a service advisor for a Toyota dealer in SE PA, your dealer is full of shit. I've sold two sets of 16" steel wheels and tires to customers, both without TPMS on the steelies at customer's requests.

I left each customer a tire pressure gauge, my business card and four quarters taped to the back of it in the cup holders with a note to check pressures every few days, the quarters to pay for the machine if the gas station charged.

Get your tires back and find somewhere else to get service.

ehh so whats goin on?

Mebbe i did things differently... told the dealer I didn't want those primacy's, asked him to keep them and install my lowering springs instead.. he said ok, and to install my wheels and tires as well (already on the rim) deal.. I am just dreading the call when they say hey these wheels don't fit they rub! at least I hope that call doesn't come...

No worries, i just didn't want to pay someone to do install the springs after i had the car, and i didn't want those stock tires anyways.

Oh and its all in writing.

They didn't give back the tires or the toll change I kept in the car =p
I guess I'll be giving them a bad review and going to another dealership for service.

That's right mate, hit them hard on the survey and let them know your disgust with in depth comments.

I will not be giving my dealer top marks for a number of reasons, but none as major as yours. They mostly just over-charged initially (pulled them up on that crap pretty quick) and were not helpful in general. Toyota dealerships still believe they can just sell massive numbers and treat customers as numbers and with contempt to match.

As the inventor of the turd powered aeroplane admitted: "THIS S$%T WON'T FLY!"
