On the AppRadio front has anyone considered running it with a Micro Andriod PC like the MK802 or MK808?
My ideal setup would be the new AVH-X8500BHS paired to a MK808 Android device running APPLiberator with a USB hard drive and OBD2 reader. It would give me the best of all worlds. A full bore Android PC, a touchscreen interface, a DVD drive, HD Radio, and full 4V preamp outputs for an offboard processor. |

Yes, it would treat the Micro Android device just like an android handset. Bluetooth for control, HDMI for audio and video.

I just picked up a mint EVO 3D for 100$ to use on the AppRadio. Videos will be posted this weekend.

I've heard a lot of people talking about bypassing the parking brake (ground?) to solve some issues, was just wondering if someone could elaborate a bit on that. I'll be having this deck installed in a few weeks and would like to get as much of the in dash fiddling done with in 1 go. Any input would be appreciated.

So I got this deck installed, worked with an audio installer to get a microbypass to get things running the way I want. Love the deck so far, however I'm just now finding that I need a specific MHL cable to use my galaxy S3 with this deck, and that the pioneer android kit doesnt really do anything for me. Has anyone else come across this issue? Lots of MHL cables on the market but now I'm suspicious of which ones will actually work for me.

Any idea what the amperage output of the Pioneer AppRadio is? I Ask because I have a Samsung Galaxy Note II and it pulls nearly 2 amps which often times triggers an error on the radio. I am wondering if I were to get the Android kit would it even work as a result of the amp draw.....

First time trying to install a radio and confused about what to do with the remote wire (blue/white) that came with the ar2. I purchased the beat sonic BH1 harness and someone in a thread said to connect the remote wire to the power antenna wire (blue) but he was not using the BH1. Im thinking this is the way to go but the sign shown on the pic from the BH1 box is confusing me. I also have two more blue wires, one for the microbypass and one for the antenna adapter. What do I do with the blue wires? Any help appreciated
