I like the flat look of the 9" width Enkei but if you want to run any big brake kit then the Enkei wont work. The Mach V will work with a big brake kit so if eventually big brakes are not in your future then Enki would be my choice.

can I ask how your car feels off the line now? 9" (or 255 tires in your case) seems so wide for the power we have.

It will just have more grip, so unless he's trying to spin wheels it will be much the same, even with the heavy tyres, the rims are 2kg lighter than std so actual weight shouldn't matter much..

Moto-spec RSR Sports-i coilovers. I only get a tiny rub at absolutely full lock which must be coming from the wheel wells but it hasn't been an issue so I haven't really dug into it.

Approx 36mm in the front and 24mm in the back, as stated by Moto when speccing the coilovers, at least.

Exactly. In a sense it feels slower but only because it is, well, less eventful.

In reality it is much faster than before, on account of the massive increase in grip. Steering response did feel a little slower until I had the alignment done and toe adjusted front and back. Now it feels very close to what it did before, only with gobs of grip. It's now an entirely different car on the auto-x course, that's for certain, and I haven't even fully broken in the tires or gotten them up to proper temperature!
