I haven't done any performance mods as of yet. So performance being a factor in this decision right now, isn't really a concern

Well my friend--gonna save you some $$$.

You don't need the C/O setup. A good, quality set of springs that give you just the right stance & ride quality will get the job done for you. The stock dampers (shocks) are plenty good.

I'm kind of old school in that I'd only recommend something as extensive as (real quality) coilovers, is if you use the car regularly in competition, DEs etc--and are fairly advanced in your skilz... lol

Besides: the best quality C/O setups are not listed here.

My next mod will be going into coilovers and I need advice according to what I will be using my car for. HELP!

To clarify.. I want coilovers for DD and quality of ride. I want to lower my car around 2-2.5" and slap 17" or 18" wheels on it. I'm going for the flush look. Money isn't too much of a factor, as am saving up for it and will also have my tax income.
Based on what you mentioend, I say Stance w/Swift springs.

Eibach Pro street
Kw
Cusco street spec
Ground control street system

Anything that reuses the stock upper mounts will most likely have the best ride. I'm going GC street they offer everything I want and are 1350 so very fairly priced.

Notice a key word in my list??

That setup is a little overkill for your needs but their street or touring systems would be great. 1350 for the street kit is an insane value in my opinion that's why I'm getting it

Ohlins FTW. As soon as they release them my V3'S will be up for sale. KW makes an awesome coilover though.

BC BR are your best bet if you want the slammed look. They are praised on STi's and WRX's. They do last awhile and are only 1k.

I hear where you are coming from but they aren't going to recommend what they don't like, I think the stance and BC recommendations are hilarious though when he mentions ride quality being the number 1 priority.
