Yeah not a bad idea staying relatively close to stock offset. That is, after all, how the engineers designed the car to be.

With my chassis bracing and all, I'm totally satisfied with the daily-driving handling aspects of this car, so I'm leaving the suspension alone for the most part. For now. Maybe if I start doing more track days, and get competitive with it, I'll look at coilovers. But it's kinda nice not having to rush out and drop $2k+ on suspension parts so soon after buying a new car, for a change.
Agree with you. I'm tempted to lower my car because of how good it looks, but a part of me likes how the car is setup from the factory. The chassis balance is very neutral and the ride quality is spot on for a sports car. Just wish there wasn't so much wheelgap...

We'll see about not lowering your car I respect your decision for waiting it out. It's probably in the best interest to see what you want first instead of rushing out like you probably know.

Looking good!

Nice touch with the polished lip, it really makes the wheels stand out.

I'm wondering if i could polish the lips of these 57DR's i just got. They are the Gun Blue finish but i think the polished lip might make me like them a little more.

I don't see why not; the gun blue color looks painted on, rather than anodized, so it should be easy enough for a reputable shop. A long, long time ago I briefly had some SSR Comps (same overall design as the 57DR's) that were gunmetal gray w/ polished lip, and holy hell they were sexy on my black car.

I'd like to add these to the Wheel Directory since nobody else has this wheel in this spec yet, but your photos have vanished. Can you edit your first post and get the photos back up?
