It's very good to know that you pulled yourself back in order to get the appropriate lines down at the track. Even still at my current experience level, I make the mistake of not slowing down enough on the first day to make sure and pin down the lines perfectly. As long as I know to work the lines on the first day, I'm SO much faster on the second day. Good luck with the future events!

Installed StopTech front brake pads and crash bolts today. I love doing brakes on Subaru's. Easiest car ever.

Changed out the diff oil this morning. Swapped in Lucas Oil synthetic and new washers. I had the oil so I figured I try it out. Based on how burnt the original oil was and how much crap was on the drain plug, I expect I'll be changing it again in a couple of months.

Went to the Extreme Speed Track Event at the Streets of Willow on Nov 25.
I had a great time there. I was in the only BRZ. Sadly outnumbered by the FRS's.....ah hem....CSG Mike...... Anyhow. Once I finally got the tire pressure adjusted, everything went much better. Yes, that was me that spun out on Turn 10, not JohnB. SO for informational purposes, 36° hot seemed to be the ideal tire pressure for the stock Michelins. On a side note, coming off the track at the end of the last session, just about 5pm I popped the dreaded CEL/Traction light. I drove home like that and pulled the battery cable to reset. I'll see how things go over the next few days. A friend took some pics during the day. All are uploaded here: http://durkee.fbox.net/gallery3/inde...Speed-Nov-2012

Minor update. Working in Maryland for the time being. I don't expect much activity during this time frame.
Did see @ftc~brz at Cars & Coffee in Hunt Valley.

6/4/13
Short story: Landscaping company sprayed the side of my car with rocks putting over 20 chips in the side windows. I did meet with the property management company and landscaper. They apologized and said they'd handle repairs. So I'm getting quotes... Dealership or shop, I'm open. Just want quality work since I'm pretty anal about other people working on my car. I need the following quotes: Replace the drivers side window and rear quarter window. (est: $200 drivers window, $300 rear quarter. No labor) Formula One Pinnacle Series Tint ($160 for two windows) Car Detailing ($325 for paint correction and detail) ![]() More pics HERE

Well, it's been a while, but here's the latest.
Had ISC coil overs purchased from @AJW Performance installed by @Pure Automotive. Street/Sport version. I think that's 8k/6k. So far so good. No noise. Ride is decent. Need to dial it in a little more due to a little bit of bounce in the rear. Have it down about 1.25"
