If they dont build one... Im sure one tunning company/ Dealership will buy a one/ few and convert them to converibles and charge alot more to buy...

That happened with the latest shape STI Sedan ( looked pretty werid but I beleaved they sold them all?
also same happened on the Subaru Leone, XT etc

I think the FRS can possibly be a smaller reincarnation of the Supra if they made a turbocharged model with a sport package. It would also be way cheaper than a modern day Supra.

FRS= $22,000
2.0T 300hp/280tq=$5,500 upgrade over the 2.0
Sport package=$3,500(BremboBK,TTS,18'' wheels and tires,rear spoiler)
100 lbs of extra curb weight= 2,800 lbs overall

So $31,000 for a RWD,2800 lb,300 hp,Sport Package Sports car= A cult status car!!

This would be much better than a Supra that would be more heavier by at least 500 lbs anyway.

I LOVE the way you think. A car with similar power - G37 starts at $37,600 and if you want a 6MT, its $43,800. I know its like comparing apples to oranges, with all the amenities that this car won't have, but thats a big difference in apples. I

If the JDM/EDM FRS is badged as a Celica, it would at least have some historical precedent.

You should've posted this comment on the supra thread that was made on this forum than this thread... which is about a convertible. :P lol
