Maybe with a lil red stitched 86 on the sides, or somewhere?? But, all in all, i like it. Looks better IMO than the "stock" one from Japan.

Looks pretty good! It definitely has potential; just my personal opinion but the size of this one looks incomplete on top of the cupholder/cubby...
I think it should either reveal one cupholder or cover every edge of that cubby...to store and hide stuff underneath of course.

Texture of the leather and the red stitching are spot on though!

thanks for the comments and inputs guys.

the idea of this design is for you to still be able to put a phone or an mp3 player on that little cubby and have easy access to it while the armrest is installed.

also when the cup holder is positioned in the front. the back part of the console is open and can be used as the new "cup holder"

Garage
I want an armrest that covers the entire cubby section of the center console, possibly even the recess where the seat heater switches go. I think that whole section looks cheap, and I don't keep $#!t in my car or drink in it anyways. I might transport a drink in the cupholder, but you won't see me drinking out of it while driving.

We will have our first batch probably 3-4 weeks from now.

Price is still to be determined.

Looks like it will be on the two digit range

Like this, although your version looks a nicer shape and sounds like it will be cheaper if you can do the double digit price you mentioned.

I like this one better! but like one of the comments, i wish it was attched by magnets so i can just toss it in the back.

Question: Is the frs center console the exact same as the brz?

That armrest requires drilling to the console which is something i would not do.

There is no metal points on the console so the magnet idea is no go.

And yes frs and brz has the same exact console.

what do you guys think?

opinions, critics are welcomed!

it is still in development so the design can change

In collaboration with a manufacturer, we bring you this FR-S/BRZ/GT86 center console armrest.

This factory-quality armrest installs in the existing center console cup holders. No modifying or cutting/drilling "ANYTHING" required. Easily removed to gain access to cup holder. Now you can have an armrest when you need it and remove it when you don't! Since the armrest uses the cup holder assembly, you can place it in the forward or back posiition, just like the factory cup holders.

Armrest is constructed from High Quality automotive grade black "Leatherette" with a soft foam underlayment. Red double stitching matches the seats for a complete, factory look!

  • Easy-to-install and remove. Uses the existing cup holders in the center console.
  • Can be used in the forward or back position in the console.
  • Adds support and comfort in seconds.
  • Factory look with no modifications to your interior required.
  • Covered in quality black grained "Leatherette" with Red double-stitched seams.
  • Black "leatherette" with black double-stitch available special order.
  • Armrest measures 12" long, 4-3/8" wide, 3" high (measured from top of cup holder edge).

No actual pricing yet but it will be cheap!
