You guys are lucky...in Oz the wait is 6 months to 2 years depending on spec. I ordered mine on 23rd July and it still hasn't got a scheduled build date. Was hoping to see it for Xmas but suspect it will be 2013!!

I just ordered two days ago. At first they said 1 month, but since i wanted whiteout 6 speed manual, they said 2 months. The dealer is high volume. I think i will get mine before xmas.

I ordered and was told 6 weeks. It came in exactly 6 weeks later.

Where do you live, tripjammer? That sounds like a crazy backlog for a high-volume dealer...

I ordered mine last week (white MT) and the dealer said it should be in the second week of October.....he said they recieved their allocation of 1 in the next shipment and its mine.

still waiting on mine. the dealer called last week, said it got to port, should be here next week. still no car. oh.. and the color has changed from argento to asphalt. (when I ordered, i didn't choose a color, only MT)

Went to the highest volume Toyota dealership in Austin, they had 14 people on the waiting list, and were only allotted about 4 FR-S / mo. Told me it would be about 4 months before I could get one.

Ended up talking to a dealer around the DFW metroplex, should have one within a month with the exact specs I wanted (Asphalt, AT)
