RTR is my plan also. The DLBRacing.com registration site doesn't have that option listed so I just selected CS. I'll switch to RTR when I'm at the event.

Any recommendations on what we should bring?

Make sure you bring water or similar beverages, sunblock, hat, and if have them (helmet, class numbers and letters). If you don't have numbers and letters, you can use painters tape instead. I change out my wheels at the site, so I also bring out a jack, cordless impact wrench and my autox wheels/tires. If you bring an ice chest with water, you might want to throw in a sandwich or something you can eat for lunch because there is nothing close enough to this site to grab really quickly. Oh, a tire pressure gauge is also a good thing to have. There will be a compressor on site, usually, if you need to add some before going to grid.

Oh, and if there is a chance of rain bring a raincoat, umbrella or both. I'd also recommend some thick trash bags because if it rains and you have everything pulled out of your car, you can stick it all in a trash bag and keep it mostly dry.

Didn't register in time for school, and I have to go to Cars and Coffee that morning. Need to find a helmet as well.

They will have some loaner helmets at the event if you don't have your own.

Good to know.
I would like to join you guys in the rookie school but I'm still < 500 miles.

My baby has been sitting at the airport terminal. Dying to ditch my rental (mustang) and get back behind the wheel of my GT86.

Thanks for the info chucky. I might just stop by a shop and get something I really want. I remember when we went to Camaro5fest we were able to find one with little notice on the list of Craigs.

This post, I'll use for results. The only mods I noticed were tires on one vehicle I think. The first two runs, I had an instructor with me. First time to do this ever. I should have gone to Rookie school, but there was Cars and Coffee that morning. Great fun. Everyone should come out.

I was in the first heat, and the sun didn't come up until my last run :-(. Picked up about 1 and a half seconds. There were a few cars completely spinning out as the temp was really low (under 63 I'm guessing). My friend said there might have been one other BRZ or FR-S in the first heat.

If I missed someone please let me know. I think we have pictures of all the vehicles and some Go Pro footage.

You beat me by 0.191 seconds . Knocked me from 9th (which got a cool little sticker), to 10th (which didn't). It was all good. First time out there as well. I had fun. Definitely sliding around a lot with the cold tires. Spun out my first run.
