Not hating,,, just think you have some flaws that need to be worked out.

OR, maybe I am just ignorant to the laws that exist in Cali and your system will work for what you need it to do???
he said before that he is working on a shield to cover the filter so that water doesn't splash into it.

As for the exhaust. We are allowed to replace our exhaust as long as it falls under the 93db sound rating.

Question... Wont whoever checks ur cars, DMV? go hey whats with the intake pipe, i cant see the intake, strange?, i wonder where that goes and well u know what i mean?

If i popped a hood and was to see the piping heading somewhere with no intake in sight i would be curious.... And im no DMV... Just curious as to how this is considered stealth?

Not trying to be a d*ck, just interested.....

Cheers..

Well, yes this certainly wouldn't pass visual solely based on the engine compartment. If they see anything shiny they will ask for a CARB plate/sticker. You might be able to get away with it if you have the black piping instead.

It won't be the DMV, it would be a Highway patrol and only if they have a reason, drag racing, being stupid, etc. The black piping will be better under the hood, I have bought as many different texture paints I could find to see if I can match the intake cover. If anyone knows what matches that cover please let me know and where to get it. I just left it shiny for the pix as I believe we would not see it very well.

As far as stealth I wish I could be more stealth but other than blacked out piping that's about it. The biggest thing is the Cat ticket you don't want to get a $2500 ticket. The rest is a fix it ticket $25.00 and a few hours to put it back stock for the referee than back to turbo. I know it's not perfect or stealth but it's as close as I could get and have some fun in Ca. I Love living in Ca, I was born in Michigan and the winters suck big time. Gotta love the weather here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Comp turbo oil-less, water cooled with packed ceramic bearings. I don't want to give away the size yet until I know this setup is perfect for this. Don't want any confusion if I tweak it a bit.

Ah, that makes sense. Ceramic bearings huh, then I know it's not a TD04

I dont think you have to worry about chp and ref. Just need to pass smog and visual inspection.

Smog won't be needed for 5 to 6 years on a new car. Then it's a couple hours to revert back to stock.
