Damn. Damn damn damn. I went with the Torques on my car, but 17x9 +30... and I have made a grave, grave error in judgement. I should have bought a white car and put 18" Torques on it. SO SO SEXY!

Oh, and the dropped BRZ looks great. Would those 18x9.5 fit without coilovers? They'd pooch out a lot I'd imagine.
They poke out a bit more. I believe there is a picture of Rota Grids with the same size/offset as these on stock suspension.

You can come over, grab a beer and visualize it being 1/4 to 1/2" higher (might take a few beers though).

No specs yet. Will be getting that done shortly (damn work schedule). Just the natural drop with no camber adjustments.

Wish the rears poked a bit more to match the front though.

Your car looks amazing and is pretty much the look I am going for. Im undecided between 17x9 or 189.5 CR ultimates.

Can you advise how much room you have between fender and tire on the front? The CR Ultimates are a +30 offset and I am trying to ensure I dont get any rubbing. Will be on 224/40 tires all round.

I might have to go with a +38 offset.

Very Nice Wheels ! The color combo is real good !

The gap between the tire and the rim is way too large.

From far it look nice but from close the tire not sitting on the rim properly is a turn off for me.

With a 9.5 rim width why did you choose such a thin tire to sit on those large rims ?

That looks really good man. Now LOWER IT!!! Looks like a x10" would work pretty good too. How much room between the wheel and the coilover do you have?

Preference and uncertainty. I wanted the car low, but I wasn't sure how low I could go without making the tires rub, so I went with 225/40s to just be on the safe side. A little stretch is a mixed bag, some people like it, some people don't. If you raise the car a big, I'm sure 235s in the front would have less stretch and look good as well. I will try and snap some better clearance pics when I get to my lift.

And here is some clearance picks of the tires to the fender. As well as the underside clearance. There is plenty of up and down room in the fender, so I took some pics of the outer clearance.

Fronts
The gap between the front coilover and the wheel is approximately .8".

Rears
Enough clearance between the wheel and the coilover to shove a small baby into.

Front clearance (rear is pretty much identical under the car)

And here is a picture of my the wheels flat so you can see the lip (sorry, only pic I snapped, they were in my truck)

I believe I lowered them roughly 2.5 inches all the way around. There is still room to go lower as well on the coilovers.

Those wheels look great!

Side note: Can't wait for stretch to be over.

Looks like you have the room in the rear to squeeze 245s or 255s?
