17X9 +45, 245 tire. No rubbing with coils. I have no idea why you would be rubbing.

Agree something sounds weird. I rub at full lock with 245/40/17 on 17x9+45 on the inner fender liners and tie rod but nowhere else, adding a 5 mm spacer to +40 solves it completely.
-4 ish degrees of camber (plates and bolts required) about 1.5” lower then stock. If your gauge reads a little low 25 psi isn’t crazy. I’ve run down to 26 but usually like it higher. Haven’t used falkens in this size/wheel combo tho. |

Hopefully the pictures transferred. Rub is both forward of the coil over and behind it. The rub on the sway bar is from before I removed the camber bolts. Ride height is about 6 1/2 at the front pinch weld.

Nope, I was at 5" pinch weld height and it rubbed.

Fallen RT 660 fitment
I have rub too, but I mostly suspect it is due to my spring rates being too soft. -3.6F( I think) ride height -1.5" from stock on 17X9 +35 with 245/40's. Mine hits everywhere. Top, inside, front. I am missing quite a bit of liner because of it.

I run RT660 245/40r17 on 17x9+40 Konig Hypergrams. I'm lowered around 1.25inches at all 4 corners and run -3f/-2.2r camber on RCE SS-1 (6k/6k rates) I don't rub at all under normal driving conditions but I can induce a tiny bit of rub while on track under trail braking on hard right hand turns under compression on the front left wheel but I'm not sure exactly where I'm contacting yet, when I looked last time, I couldn't find evidence of the rubbing on the wheel well.

Don't turn full lock, or use a small spacer on the front wheels.

The tire can rub into the fender above it under braking if the range of motion of the suspension is not set up correctly.

Just a follow-up to this, my wheel isn't rubbing at all, it's actually my mud flap dragging on the ground on hard right handers. They are the stiff Rokblokz plastic flaps and make quite the noise when they contact pavement which I mistook for fender rubbing. I like how they look but I don't winter drive the car anymore so I bet they will just introduce drag at this point so I might just take them off. Maybe worth seeing if I get a better top speed down the straight without them. |
