Does the manual GR86 have a remote start? I thought the Corolla hatch had one which only worked when the car was in neutral.

The BRZ doesn't.

Yes it does with the app. It doesn't using the remote, just the app.

I stumbled upon your post about the Toyota Remote Connect app and I thought I'd chime in. I haven't personally used the app, but I did come across this nifty scanning tool called Smart Engines (https://smartengines.com/) that could potentially help you out with your VIN registration and enrollment process. It's been a year since you posted this, so I'm not sure if you've found a solution yet, but if you're still struggling, it might be worth giving Smart Engines a try. I hope this helps and good luck!
