I *think* there's actually a little less in back but I'm not comparing apples to apples. On my first STX car, I was on 17x9+35 with 255 RE71Rs and never rubbed. The new car is on +45 wheels with 255 Yoks and it's rubbing on big bumps. The yoks are considerably wider then the same size stones, so it's tough to say.

Have you set the compression/droop travel on the coilovers correctly?
Do you have a photo of how deep the tire goes at full compression?

Hmmmm. That's a bummer.

I was hoping 18x9.5 ET 35-40 with 255/35s was still going to be a slam dunk.

MCS don't have that adjustment and if they did, you'd just be hitting bumpstops to not rub

Ah, indeed!
There are of course ways to tweak that if needed, but they're somewhat hacky.

True, unless you'd be ok raising the car a bit to give the suspension some extra room to work.

I am planning to do bronze RPF1s as well on my Ignition Red, at stock height... 4x4 crew.


Was thinking +35 for flush or minor poke but these pics at +45 indicate that may be the play... wonder if the body fits tighter? From what I've read the front/rear track is practically the same between gen1 and gen2 so I'm surprised to see +45 being so flush. Looks fantastic.

Any chance to get some close-up photos of the front tow-hook cover and area? I'm curious if the 2013 - 2020 BRZ/FRS license plate relocation kits will work here.
