Reminds me of a back-in-the-day story about my good friends older brother. He bought a brand new 1957 Chevrolet (just like in the picture). Yep, 283 cu in, 270 HP engine with 2, 4 barrel carburetors. It was quite the machine for the day. It was his pride and joy.

Well, his new wife wrecked and totaled it - it was a sad day. They got divorced a few years later.
