Had the black heart catted helmholz resonated front pipe. Then the cat welds broke inside. So I switched to jdl catted resonated. Can’t say a I noticed a big difference. I know they say helmholz are proven to work but in practice it was minor.
This was with jdl catless headers, stock overpipe and q300. |

Comp RS is pretty droney to begin with. It's pretty hard to get quieter than the stock front pipe. I went from MXP SP with stock front pipe to JDL ultraquiet catted/resonated front pipe and the sound was pretty much identical to stock. The JDL front pipe did reduce the drone at highway speed for me but I'm not sure how it'll be with a header.
