I'll take you up on that, if the offer still stands. I have a wider material and a widened prototype, but I'd like to do more revisions with a real speaker in-hand, if you can send one my way. I have tried to buy several sets on here but the sales all fell through.l If I can borrow yours, I'll send you back the speaker and the revised spacers.
didnt see this till today, do you still need the 2 stockers? if so i can prolly get them out today.

Yes- I'll take them. My last revision covers the gap, but I'd still like to have an OEM speaker to tweak the design.

I can send you a paypal payment so that you have my shipping info and to cover the shipping costs. Do you want a replacement pair of adapters or are you good with the current ones?

Just shoot me a PM and tell me what you want to do.

FYI, I just finished installation and #12 x 1.5" screws secure the spacers better.

Phenryiv1's spacers fitted perfectly

And thank you Pkenryiv1 for recommending the Metra 72-8104 speaker wire harness ... it connects perfectly into the factory plug.

Here are a couple of pics from my install.

I used the clamps to hold the speaker in place while I drilled the holes to mount the speaker to the spacer.

I used this to form the gaskets between the spacer and the door and the speaker and the panel. I'm sure there are better options on the market but this stuff is cheap and easily found in HD or lowes.

All the screws are stainless-steel.

Great! Can I use your pictures on the how-to website? Do you have any more pics?
