Just seemed the OP was trolling, and I took some of what you were saying in the other thread the same I guess. My apologies if that is not the case.

I think everyone can agree that it would be an even better car with more power, but until then I guess i'll have to be impatiently patient.:happy0180:

In keeping with the theme of the thread, if the Z benchmarked the Cayman, why couldn't the FR-S have benchmarked the Z?

Instead they sort of benchmarked the Miata. Sort of.
If this car launches the Scion brand like Toyota hopes, and increases sales enough, I could see them eventually having different trim levels and more options.

All these 370z guys seem to have a huge inferiority complex that leads them to tell other car owners how much better their car is. If you need to bring everyone else down to enjoy your own car, then you probably don't really like your car as much as you say. I'm sure the 370z is a really nice car and I'm glad you all enjoy it. I personally don't like the styling, but like most everything else you guys keep harping on about, that is subjective to the individual. Enjoy your car, we will do the same for ours.

I'm just mad that the FR-S doesn't make me want to sell my Z -- I honestly hoped that it would

That said, the ones with the "problem" sold their Z and bought a Mustang ages ago.

Now the SC'd one I understand, but trading in for a 5.0? That car is like barely .1 to .2 seconds faster out of the box... a few 10ths is not that important to me, but for some I suppose it is.

The Boss 302 or SC'd 'stang are both a lot faster tho, but also way more money.

Do kind of secretly want a blown Challenger tho'....

Anyway, as to styling: The FR-S/BRZ and 370Z look like cousins, so I don't see how you could like one more than the other (FWIW, I'm honestly torn), but whatever...

Trust me. I wouldn't be hanging around here if I didn't still want one... er, well, one that is closer to the Gazoo twincharged car anyway

I completely disagree with that. The z is just too husky for me, but again, to each their own. Notice though, how I don't say "no, that's ridiculous, the z is sooooooo ugly. My BRZ looks way better than that!"

The 350 was a numb turd, but the 370 actually handles pretty well. Could stand to be 200 lbs lighter, IMO tho'.

I'm looking forward to seeing what Clarkson says about the FRS on the show (I know he liked it a lot in the mag) because he also liked the 370Z quite a lot (except for the engine noise and ride harshness -- old man). Be interesting to compare and contrast his praise and criticisms for both cars.
TIL Thanks!
