In addition, have a HD fire extinguisher standing by. A hydrogen sulfide explosion is nasty to contain. Also, have a 5 pound bag of baking soda at the ready to neutralize any of the sulfuric acid that escapes. Rig up a garden hose to make an eye wash station, in case your face mask is blown off. Do NOT wear clothes that you wish to keep - battery acid will eat them up before you can get them to a washing machine.

After you finish, be sure to take a long, hot shower, scrubbing your entire body with a stiff, horse hair brush and lye soap until blood is almost drawn.

Yep, between ol Mr.ac 's recommendations and mine, you should be OK.
