I can assure you, I pay far less attention to things I do 25 times a day than things I do twice a year. I don't pay attention to how much my lunch costs every day, but I pay a lot of attention to my tax refunds/payments when I file them.

It would be interesting to see the statistics on the matter, though that would involve someone (anyone) admitting the F'ed up a simple oil change...

Also, nobody cares as much about my car as I do.

you're assuming this is my only vehicle...

i also have always refilled my oil instead of leaving it dry, and not stripped the drain plug and tried to fix it with jb weld...

but i do tend to make a mess of the driveway!
