Nope. My power coated bakes on my '91 MR2 Turbo has seen years of track and autox, daily driving. Still looks great. They get dirty but it hasn't faded noticeable.

The only ones that I have seen fade are single coat rattle can painted ones.
I got the brush on calipers paint from napa 4 coats on a proper prep disassembled calipers, 8 years later just a tad of fade.

It's all about the prep work

There are kits by Duplicolor with either spray cans or cans of paint. Most auto parts stores sell them. I opted for painting them on my Miata a couple years ago. It has not been tracked and the color hasn't faded, but there was one drawback: The paint took several days to dry to a tacky consistency and stayed that way for a long time. Another Miata owner I know had the same experience, and in his case the pad dust turned the painted surfaces dark. That didn't happen to me. There are sets of covers in various colors that you can buy.

Beware of using covers on calipers not designed to have covers. Brake dust and debris can (and will) build up in there and turn into a form of concrete. If you want the stock rotors cleaned up or a different colour just follow some of the directions the guys gave. Any quality heat paint or specific kits will do just fine for most driving styles. If it fades just do it again.
