For those interested here is the link. Toyota 86 Owners Manaul I'm all for helping people find information but if you spend 25-30k on a vehicle buy a 2 dollar coffer sit down and read the manual. At the very least scan the table of contents so you have an overview of the primary features.

Everybody should read the manual for anything they buy but it is especially important with cars. There is a lot of cool stuff in there.

So am I the only one who read the manual 2-3 times while waiting for my car to be delivered?
For me, there are far too many idiots in automatic transmissions that sit 2 inches off my bumper at a light. The extra peace of mind that i wont roll back into them as much is nice. Even if i don't technically need it. To OP: Hill Start Assist wont actually help you get started on a hill, just give you a bit more time before you roll backwards. You will still stall if you let out the clutch wrong, and you will start to roll as soon as clutch engagement starts (this includes backwards if you are too timid once engagement starts). |

im amazed people still do that in san francisco of all places, even on those ridiculously steep hills where even an automatic will roll backwards.

haha, I like this idea.
I know right, then again majority of the cars everytime i visit sf aren't the best shape exterior wise from bumps, scrapes and scratches.
