For DD keep it at 215 - more playful and plenty of grip. If you track well then go for it.

NC Miatas came stock with a 205/45 on a 17x7, and the feel was awesome.

I know these cars are slightly heavier than the third gen Miatas (200lbs or so), but it might be worth looking into.

What are you recommending, getting Miata's or using 205/45's? If you mean 205/45, I would go all the way and install 195/65. It will be so "playful"

Lol funny, I meant the tires. Thought I'd still have my third gen Miata if it was a tad roomier (I'm a good bit over 6ft).

But why stop at 195/65? Could just wrap some rubbing splicing tape around your rims.
