225s on 17s
so, I presume 100s have fitted 225s on the original 17" wheels....I don't have to roll my guards, do I?

Why do you want to have more rubber on same rims? You'll have more flex and you'll lose steering precision.

That is if he is using the stock wheels A wider 17s wheel will improve handling and steering Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Yes, that's why I am asking. He said to fit them on the original 17" wheels.

I also have 225/45-17 on the stock rim. It gives better traction and softer ride than the stock tires. I can't tell much difference in steering for street driving. It takes more power to slide and I prefer that way especially with a supercharger. It is safer.

Thanks everyone.
