I would consider PSS's if i were you. At first i did not like the price but after some spirited driving, I'm always going to have these at the top of my list. I daily and use my car for work (field service tech), so when im driving normal it feels like a regular tire but when i want to take a turn hard the tires never disappoint. Also taking a 30mph turn at 50 in the rain and still gripping was the last piece of convincing I needed to make this my go to tire.

Just wanted to say thanks for this thread, I was researching tires for California use (no winter tires needed, and relatively low rain).

I'm still seeing if MPSS is still the best choice, I'm a big Michelin fan - enough to have them on my 2x Camry's and my bicycle.
