There are at least 4 companies working on a turbo setup for this car. From what I've seen, none are designing a kit for 500hp, maybe 300hp. Go to the Engine, ECU, etc... sub-forum. That's where you'll find a couple of the build threads.

Holy... 500hp? You'd need to dump a lot more weight in the back and get you some wide ass tires too.
I think ~250whp will be the sweet spot for this car without it losing the fun factor it has.

Not on the stock internals for sure. So your looking at a built motor+plus the kit+plus tuning and install if you dont do it yourself.
Then getting that amount of power down.... Itll be done within the year but it will be very very expensive. |

500 would be a decent amount of work for a factory turbocharged engine and he's asking for an off the shelf kit for a N/A engine...
![]() Welcome to the forum docyzx. Shhh, no more talk of tarboes or supermans. It's already faster than a duck, what more do you need!? Snoopy would you please stop correcting people's grammar. This is a public forum, not your grammar school.

I have quite a few daily driven 500 crank hp EJ's rolling around. Its not that difficult. A GT500 is like $60k. I'll have a 500hp BRZ by the end of the summer if my pistons and rods come. I don't think it will be all that expensive to do. We'll see though!
