I change my own oil because I can control exactly what goes in and how it is done. It also allows me the opportunity to inspect the used oil for any issues.
I use OEM filters and various weights of Redline oils. |

I used OEM filters and Mobil 1 0w20 from walmart. Most economical and practical imo. Expensive oils might be neat, but unless you're tracking it regularly, the cost might not be worth it.
