Yea but like someone else already stated, tires on the gc are already great wouldnt make that much of a difference compared to changing the ones on the frs. It wud be cool to see what both of these cars do with the same tires on.

genesis r 0-60 5.7 1/4 14.2/98.4mph braking at 111
fr-s 0-60 6.2 1/4 14.8/94.3mph braking at 118

They are not that far off from eachother. Car and driver shaved off over 2 secs but switching to better tires so who knows. If the gc and frs had the same brake setup and tires i think the frs wud win due to its balance. straighaways the gc wud still get us tho!

Most of you guys don't even know what the hell you are talking about. A fully loaded GC with a 8 speed auto is 35,750 vs a base ass model STI for about the same price. A 3.8 R-Spec has about as much features that come with STI and it costs 29,450. Plus I would rather have sexy low-slung RWD coupe over a hotted up economy box any day of the week.

How is the V6 GC price compared to a 370Z? I know which one of the two I would pick.

Also these guys are so wrong about the vehicles weight balance. They are both identical 55/45.

A Z is based at $30,750 with no options while a R-Spec is about 1k cheaper with a Sport package standard and a back seat. If nobody can see the deal in that then I don't know if anybody knows what a B4B is.

The new 2012 370z baseline starts at $32,280, not sure where you got the $30,750 for, and that's baseline

You can get the fully loaded manual 3.8 Track for $33k, which is 348 HP, Leather, Heated Seats, Sunroof, Navigation, HID's, Front LED's, Brembos, Spoiler, etc etc

$1k is close enough to really come down to how each one drives and feels.

It must've went up more since 09. See that makes the GC an even bigger deal than I was making it out to be.

Apparently I was talking about the price of a 09 370 base. I have been corrected.

Base BRZ $27,295.00
GC V6 Track $36,999.00
Base STI $38,195.00

Dam, US prices are much better.

Just built a 370Z with Sports package - $36,090

Sport Package: $3,030

Nissan Sport Brakes
Limited-Slip Differential
Bridgestone Potenza tires
Body Color Rear Spoiler
SynchroRev Match
19" 5-spoke RAYS® wheels
Front Chin Aero Deflector

Genesis Coupe 3.8 R-Spec V6 - $30,025

Red leather bolster/red cloth insert seats
AM/FM/SiriusXM/CD/MP3 audio system

$6,065 difference, that's a big chunk of change. If I didn't get the Sport package on the Z then it'll be $3,035 still pretty expensive.

I honestly think both the GC and FRS/BRZ is the ASIAN B4B sports coupes. You still get back seats and a useable trunk with all 3.

I also think the end results is what everyone including me have expected. If I was tracking a car I would choose the smallest, lightest RWD vehicle over one that weighs 600 lbs more.
