Thats awesome. Don't tell me you also have the center console leather trimmed by the Lotus trim shop in England.

You are right. I guess I have to wait to actually seeing the color on the car before I can make the decision. I had my heart set on white when I first saw the FT-86 concept but with the new "Chunkier" concept II, white might not look so good. It'll make the car appear even bigger. That European pedestrian law which makes the front of the car higher messes up the lines of all new cars.

Right now my wife and I share one car. A Hyundai Elantra! LOL

I sold my 280Z when we moved back to California about 8 months ago because there was no way it would pass smog over here.

The FT will be MY car and my wife will take over the Elantra. We might also get rid of the Elantra to get her the new Elantra since it looks nicer and gets some very impressive MPGs.

Oh and to RRnold, I WANT YOUR DUCATI!!! I might have to get another bike soon.

I think I'll keep my accord, it's reliable. Having a RWD in the snow/rain isn't always the best so I might save the FT-86 for the sunny days .

This car will replace my RSX only if I find it to be much better than my RSX. An upgrade must be a much better car in order for me to replace it.

Great participation everyone! Let's keep it going

--->4agze: Great looking AE86. You certainly don't see those out in the wild very often [especially for me here in Detroit].

--->SUB-FT86: Agreed. The RSX is a great drivers car no doubt. The FT-86 certainly has some emotionally big shoes to fill for most of us.

You weren't joking when you said "nutless grocery getter" Post up some pics of your Elantra, don't be scurred!

I'm sort of glad they only released the yellow for one year (makes it more exclusive) but bummed out they bumped up the cc's to 1198 AND offered a pearl white the following year!!

I want to add another Italian stallion to the barn but weighing it out. If the FT is a Scion, then MV. If it's a Toyota, get the FT and wait for a either a used MV later or a crashed one that I can rebuild.

Here is a couple pics of my 04 Mazda6S MTX with the old motor. New one doesn't have the black cover and is shiny. Old motor was so grimy I couldn't stand it with the cover off.

Let me know how that works out. Volts seem like pretty sweet cars for the non enthusiast world.
