Just remembered something - The dealer that I got mine from said there were only two MY16 Ravens, and a red(?) one left in all of Pennsylvania.

Edit: seriously, in that picture I guess that angular white bar is what you're excited about? I really don't care. Can't see it when I'm driving it, don't care what it looks like, and I'm strongly anti-HID.

We need to start a club! I despise those things for so many reasons.

NHTSA and IIHS are critical of most car manufacturer headlights for inducing too much glare for other motorists. The IIHS just released it's headlight report and labeled 1 out of 82 cars as 'good', literally 1 car passed their test with flying colors (the new Prius V btw). The base halogens in the Honda Accord is noted as scoring 'acceptable' while the LED 'upgrade' scores lower at 'marginal', likely due to glare. Quote:
What part of California are you driving in? Dumbasses up here don't slow down at all in the rain which is why every major freeway gets an accident during any noteworthy storm. I agree proper lighting and tires and brakes are absolutely necessary for safe motoring, but all of those come on a base model 86. |

Sounds like you are all good to go then on your exterior lighting situation then.
In some circumstances it is good to slow down a bit during a rain storm (especially when it is really dumping down) , but if it is light to moderate raining... and you have good tires ( I have Michelin hydroedge rain tires on my xA) , then posted speed limit can be maintained.. going that speed steady. I live where it doesn't rain much , 30 miles from the coast , however mainly rains (Dec-March ... off/on). We got about a 1/4" a week ago.

ohhh yeah you are from SF.
That storm was pretty much from Santa Barbara and to the north. I think Sat. night was the heaviest point. The kicker with first storms of the season is the oil run off / dirty roads , so cars can get squirly out there, especially when rolling with a janky tire that almost has no tread left on it , and abrupt stopping going 30+ mph Stay safe folks
