lol so anyone want to check out my youtube channel? I got like, Bach Prelude and Fugue WTC I no.16, some Beethoven, very bad solo Rach1, Liszt, Chopin, etc. I had some more a long time ago but it wasn't very good at all so I took it down to save the embarassment.
Probably will post Chopin Ballade 4 up, that piece is my favorite Chopin by far. Maybe I'll record Rach1 with accompaniment.

Oh I got rejected by all the privates I applied to for some reason :/ so I'll be going to UC Berkeley next year. Since that's still around where I live, I JUST MIGHT be able to coax my parents into buying me a car muahhahahahahaha cuz then they can drive it too and insure under their name.

I am a self taught rock/blues guitarist but I have always had a love for classical. My iPod has a ton of Chopin on it. There is a guitarist from Sweden named Yngwie Malmsteen that plays in a neo-classical style. He appealed to me in my youth but now I can't stand his elitism. Anyway, ya classical is awesome.

lolol my friend likes Yngwie Malmsteen. I listened to a few of the er, reinterpretations that he does, and somehow I feel like the whole thing is supposed to be a joke or something rofl. He dresses pretty ridiculously iirc, that contributes to it.

Some of my favorites include Debussy and Haydn. Modern guys are more related ot abnds but are awesome regardless. Incubus, Muse, Jared Leto, etc are great. A lot of compositions in the 21st century have moved into the DJing world with house/techno genres. That's where I find myself. Electronic instruments are fun, but nothing beats my piano or 6 trumpets.

Haydn is definitely my favorite classical (Beethoven I would argue doesn't really count). I'm actually not a big fan of Debussy lol sorry, Ravel is a little dull to me for some reason.

I'm basically all about Romantic and late Romantic haha, with the exception of Scriabin. I absolutely love late Scriabin, which people consider completely insane music. Guess that says something about me too then.
