I fold mine up, its the one from Subaru, and tuck it between the passenger seat and door. If someone is riding with me, it goes in the back seat, usually between the passenger seat, and the back seat.

Same for me. The folding sunshade fits nicely in the passenger floorboard between the seat and the door.

I've always hated dash covers, but I did see some suede ones that could possibly work I suppose.

Am I the only one obsessing about this? Anyone have ideas?

My old ae86 had original dash. 28yrs old. had 2 owners prior to me. They used armorall every week to clean it. EVERY WEEK. I used it as well, even drilled into it to set up a gps and a CB radio. Did not crack. So, I use armorall on my dash as well but weekly. I think when they crack is when they get old and you no longer 'lubricate' the plastic. My 1990 truck does too. I use armorall. No issues.

I recommend a cheap $20 cover though for dash and windshield one as well.
