Half of these also have custom swift springs, while i'm getting the spec and the front swift springs ordered(annie took the front springs and used them on her MCS). On top of all that, i'm also getting setup notes from a multiple time national champion.

FA served me well for novice autocross and daily, but i'm ready to move on to a bit more serious competition.
I see. You have a well sorted mod list here and I am excited to see more progress. Best of luck!

Thanks! for now im trying to focus more on driver mod. with the new suspension and tune going into the season, there will be a lot to take in and improve on. I dont like to slam the car with mods all at once because i want to know what each addition does, and feel the difference. Mainly because i'm still fairly new to cars and racing in general. that being said, the next step is brake work.

better feel and better modulation. for now i think pads and SS lines is plenty. I need to find where the car is right now with my driving style and see if its necessary, or rather if i can squeeze faster times with potential brake upgrades.

was struck by 86 curse once again.

I was minding my own business, pulling up to a stop light behind a really good looking black FD RX-7. After admiring it for a while, the light turned green, he took off with tires screeching and i was like "cool!" and moved on.

My right turn was coming up from the main road (6 lane avenue, we were both in the left lane), so i merged to the right most lane to exit. At this point, there were few car length between me and the RX7, but he slowed down and im beginning to catch up.

As i'm approaching him, I guessing he saw me and wanted to do a fly by or something, he merged to the middle lane and started losing traction and control of the car. ultimately it resulted in the RX7 oversteering from over-correction and ended up sideways in my lane. I was already on the brake as i saw him losing it, but it wasn't enough for me to avoid him when he oversteered into the right lane. My front driver side collided with his passenger door/frame, pushing me onto the curb to the right at the same time. The impact was slow enough i suppose that no airbag was deployed, but there are some extensive damage to the front driver side of my BRZ.

We pulled into a parking lot to resolve the situation, he admitted fault right away, saying he only got the car 2 weeks ago. I immediately know this guy didn't know how to handle a turboed car, and he probably was trying to merge without anticipating boost. unfortunately, he didn't have insurance... so i'm still figuring that portion out (this happened 2 weeks ago).

Yah, we worked out how he can cover my out of pocket cost. he told me the rear tires were very old and he didn't know. O well, as long as he pay me my cost, i can care less. I think his car is totaled tho, he told me he got a brother who owns a shop. hopefully he can get the FD fixed.
