![]() Pro tip, if anyone runs into trouble: the scissor jack comes in handy for getting that first inch of lift...or buy a new jack. |

Thinking about taking this route over coilovers. I don't necessarily want to be dropped up this is a nice drop if I couple it with RPF1s (going with the 18 inch wheels). Think the fitment would be nice?

The offset and tire size will figure into it, but 18's will generally fill up the fender better.

The balance. Yes the RX-7 had more oomph (FD3S), but even the RX-8 handled better than the FD. I'm not a fan of turbo lag either. I loved my RX-8, but she was starting to lose compression and it was going to cost more to fix her than she was really worth. The electrical system was starting to have issues too. I was thinking about getting another rotary in a few years, but I think I can build a nice track twin pretty good too. Probably cheaper in the long run seeing has how rotary parts are getting harder and more expensive to get. Sorry it took so long to respond.

I am running CS this summer with TRD springs, Koni yellows, stock sway bars (for now), and Falkens new 200AA tires. Alignment has front -1.8 camber with crash bolts, rear is same, toe about zero all around. I seem to mostly get entry understeer and some exit oversteer. Right now I am trying to decide if I should get the TRD bars or just someones front bar. Like adjustable Perrin or a Strano. My assumption is the TRD bars were designed to work well with the TRD lowering spring. |

TRD bars front and rear created a lot of understeer pretty much any time I turned at the limit.
You may be able to clean up the entry/exit balance issues with the rebound on the Koni's but it's counter-intuitive. (Soften rear to get the front to bite on entry, soften front to get the rear to hook up on exit) |

I know this is a super late response, but are you using pedal dance to turn of traction control or just pushing the button? Being able to have stronger trailbraking and weight transfer might eliminate the entry understeer for you allowing you to put a stiffer sway up front to help corner exits and slaloms.

I just hold the button.
Yes, under braking there is less understeer. I think setting the konis with stiffer rear and full soft front helps. Hoping to keep up corner speed and handle any exit problems with throttle control. I may try putting the stock bar back on. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
