Wife have nice taste on cars

The TRD springs aren't ok for the stock classes, right? Or do they slip in because they're "factory"?
|
Port installed options are considered stock for street class. (Stock class)
There was/is some controversy on the issue, but they made it offical. |

That is much more subtle than I was anticipating. Also reverting my car to C-Street and I was planning to install my springs on Wednesday after driving 6 months on coilovers. Hoping it doesn't raise too much.
|
I measured the distance to the fenders on each and it's ~3/4" lower front and rear, but the stock fender gap is pretty big so 3/4" isn't much.
For a car that runs in street, I think the gap with the TRD springs isn't bad. My STU 350Z with coilovers and 10.5"-wide wheels looked a lot meaner, but road trips sucked on 1000lb springs. |
Hey! I think I remember you from the 370z forums. Your car is looking good, I had my heart set on a Z but I'm leaning towards an frs in mid sept. Take care man :)

I am quite satisfied I purchased these
TRD lowering spring measurements as of 4/9/16 on my 2013 FRS Automatic Transmission According to the Left Front was 26” and Right Front 26” Left Rear 26.5” RightRear 26.5” STOCK After TRD springs installed LF 25.25” RF 25.5 LR 25.75 RR 25.75. I notices and immediate difference both visually and in ride quality. I was afraid the ride quality would be poor after the install. However it improved noticeably and my wife noticed it as a passenger. She never drives this fyi. I did notice minimal scraping increase over bumps (I mean minimal, minimal) FYI this is on 16x7 wheels w 225/50/16 Yokohama advan neavos I also this weekend installed the TRD front and rear swaybars to complete the TRD package : ) |

On another note, I was looking at getting the TRD springs and sway bars. How much do you like them? |

My goal for the CS prep is to set up the suspension to handle sticky rubber without messing up the balance the car had when bone stock. I have not got the sticky tires yet, but so far so good. |

How do you like the FR-S more compared to the RX-7? Any comparisons though? |
How long ago is this after install? My springs settled a bit after a couple months. I discovered this because I could just barely get the jack under the pinch weld immediately after changing, but not two months later...
If you're doing this to be competitive in C Street, strongly recommend Konis or better. The OEM shocks will leave you a bit underdamped with these springs. |
