Dry sump is the ultimate solution. If you are getting a lot of blow-by you should do a compression check just to rule out failed rings or cracked ringlands.

The fa20 with a baffled oil pan doesn't have the same issue the ej had. At the same time the fa20 doesn't have a dry sump option. Everyone is making this topic into something else.

It's funny that I found this thread, because just last night someone on the 86 track cars fb page was showing their setup on resolving this issue. I'm going to do this myself to test. I'm running about 20psi at times and when I push the car, it get quite a bit of blow by, I think at least. I see a lot of oil under my car all the way to the rear diff. I don't have any leaks anywhere.. I've checked multiple times by wiping it off, and driving. Only time I get all this oil coming out is when I'm at the track, putting it through its paces...

Also, compression is fine and no leak according to the leak down test. Head gasket is fine too

Got it resolved now.

Bespoke baffled 'can' feeds into another baffled can from the last chamber and the last chamber of that can feeds into the intake via a reducer.

Havent seen blowby since.

Got any more details on this? Is it just a drain back style going to the filler? I'm digging it!

No I'm not the originator of this idea but it doesn't drain back into the filler, it's actually a vent that drains into a catch can. The owner says it worked well on the street but at the track it didn't solve the issue 100%

I'm trying this out, in addition to the velox AOS and another catch can.

My next track event won't be until December though.
