I have been trying to find FRS owners that have them but can't find any reviews... Someone needs to get a set and do a write up!

FALSE. The prop rod doesn't hold the hood open as far as the dampers. Think about it, you have essentially 2 hinges on the back of the hood. you raise the hood up PAST where the prop goes and rest it on the prop. The shocks can actually open the hood farther than the prop.

And, from the looks of installed pics, they will not be in the way like the hood prop is.

I purchased a set of JDM from ebay (Racing Trendz - black) and they are very easy to install and work perfectly. Included only Japanese instructions and I think they were manufactured in Japan. Hood opens further than using the rod.

here are a few snap shots of my car with the circuit sports hood struts and they fit great. Easy to install within minutes. They will be available within the next few weeks!!! Hit up the sales people at www.phase2motortrend.com. If anyone is interested, maybe I can see if we can get a group buy going and get a great deal on these!
