The instructions for the TRD springs are among the most complete and thorough I've ever seen for any mod on any car. I'll add another vote for DIY.
I'm not wild about the non-compressor method. I find these compressors very safe: [ame="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000NHWP8U?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailp age_o09_s00"]Amazon.com: Performance Tool W80555 Strut Coil Spring Compressor: Automotive[/ame] For alignment all you need to worry about is toe, which is also easy to DIY. Hell I straight up replaced a tie rod end without getting an alignment afterwards, made a lucky guess on the adjustment after the first test drive and she drives straight. I'm not some wizard mechanic either, I kinda suck at this wrenching business. |

TRD Springs installation.
I got my spring installed @ a local shop that everyone love for only 200 & alignment for another 80. 😆
The shop owner did all mine plus alignment in an hour & half. He also happen to be local suspension guru... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Save yourself some money and do it yourself. You'll be closer to the car and feel pride knowing you work on your own car. BUT I do understand if you don't feel confident in doing it yourself. Have a friend help you and make a day out of it. Beers and pho at my house usually when we work on cars. Have fun.

If you're willing to make the trek out to Evasive Motorsports, they will install springs for $200.
