Many potential "back in my day" stories.

We have had this discussion here before, years back. I'll be 52 in April. This is my first 2 passenger (for all intents and purposes) vehicle.

I have always liked cars but only the last three I have purchased were truly performers (2011 WRX, 2013 FR-S and 2015 WRX).

My wife is originally from London ON if that counts. We do visit my mother-in-law there from time to time. My daughter might be going to Western there next year as well. All the schools she applied to will accept her (don't know where she got her brains).

Any other seasoned drivers out there? If so, are you a lifetime sports-car driver or late life indulgence? I am firmly in the first group having owned only one car with more than two seats. (I don't count the space behind me as "seats" in the FRS.)
As for myself, the big 6-0 arrives this month on the 20th. Still looking for a loophole....

OK SOULREAPERSTEVE!

Back in my day... there was no fancy Animes or Hentais to pleasure ourselves to. We had to get our kicks from stick figures drawn in cuneiform on the side of a cave. You kids today are sooo spoiled! I'll be in my bunk.

I stopped counting after my 60th birthday.

Really don't get in my way or I'll run your ass off the road when life is short I must drive faster.

No, but if you squint and look at @Packofcrows, driving his pickup, like today, he looks like a caveman.

61 going on 30. Definitely not my first sports car, but I have out of necessity driven other more family-friendly vehicles since my last. Kids are pretty much grown (late start playing music on the road for a lot of years) so it was a good time to get rid of the kid-hauler. My FR-S was the best decision I've made in a long time. I deserved another fun car, IMHO.

Literally.

I mean. We had no lotion, no moist towelettes, no the Fappening, no KPop Idols, no Denise Milani not... even... Brazzers. Imagine a life like that. Nuthin! Just caves, paint made of cobalt and ash, roughly hewn figurines of Venus, and cactus pads to clean up with.

F*ck this... I'm going back to watch another episode of Have Gun Will Travel, better yet Donna Reed... Shelly Fabares is a fox.
