Any help I can give I'll do it. I will need these for as long as I have the car so they are invaluable.

Absolutely fantastic resource, thank you. I've been searching for a "repair manual" like this, I miss the old days when e.g. Chilton published these for almost every make/model/year.
As a MY 17 BRZ owner looking forward to this, although obviously enough similarities w/ the already posted MY 17 86 documentation. Thank you again for posting these. |

I stumbled on this today. Any chance we can get that image you spoke of. I hate to hammer your friends server as I build my own archive. I just fear something like this will eventually go offline for one reason or another. I would like my own offline copy that I have full control over.

Hey guys, I own a 2016 Scion FRS and am having some trouble with getting my new Spec D headlights to work (with the rewire).
So coming out of the body of the car there is the 8 pin connector and it comes with these wires: 1. Tan 2. NA 3. NA 4. Black 5. Blue 6. Black / White 7. White / Blue 8. Black / White The Spec D Headlights come with the 6 Pin Connector but only 4 of the 6 pins are being used: 1. NA 2. NA 3. Red / Black 4. Blue 5. Blue / Black 6. Red From digging through other forums I've found the Spec D Headlights mean this: 3. Red / Black: Motor (-) 4. Blue: Headlight (+) 5. Blue / Black: Headlight (-) 6. Red: Motor (+) From my understanding the Spec D wires should go into the 8 pin connector as such, but it isn't working: 1. Yellow - turn signal 2. NA 3. NA 4. Black - both grounds 5. Blue 6. Blue / Black 7. Red 8. Red / Black Does anybody know what the wires from the 8 Pin Connector coming out of the body of the FRS mean and which wires they would connect to on the Spec D Headlights? If I know which connects to which I could be done with this night mare. Any information would be helpful, thanks. |

Awesome resource, thanks for putting this up. Anyone know if there is a BRZ equivalent? I'd assume 99% of it is the same but I've got a MY2017 BRZ and looking at some info regarding the fuel sub tank and on the BRZ it is very different (basically it doesn't exist) compared to what's listed for the Toyota 86 2017.

Bump... (for anyone following the thread)
The original server the rip was on is now gone, see the first post in the thread for info. There is also an offline version of this packaged as a Windows/MacOS program, again, see updated first post... Last edited by fireblaze; 05-11-2021 at 08:24 PM. |

If someone has the offline version mentioned in the post, I'd love to have it. For the 86 2017.
Thanks |

I'd like an offline version of the 2015 BRZ version PLEASE. This resource has been immensely helpful to me over the years. After seeing the message at the old link, I too would like a copy I can retain even if the server goes.
--EDIT-- I no longer need a copy.
