I hate to say this, but I suspect that this particular car has more problems with it than just missing parts, which is why the previous owner got rid of it.

With the E85 kit removed by the PO is it even tuned for E85 or has it defaulted to gas.
Should have test driven with PO before buying. Should have bought a running car with needed parts. |

But since the OP originally said that he was getting upstream O2 related codes and didn't mention any downstream related codes, that tells me that the tuner may have disabled the downstream codes from being able to trigger a CEL. One thing the OP didn't mention though, is if the headers that the seller had in there before he sold it were catted or not? If they were not, I would tend to think that the tuner used the O2 input instead of the EVAP input....Which is one reason why the OP should get back with some questions to the seller. |
