so we just finished bolting everything up for the intercooler, and we were about ready to start bleeding the coolant, however we noticed that when you turn the car to on (without starting), the pump kicks on, which we expected, but when we turn the car off, the pump continued to run. It didn't stop until we pulled the battery. We tested again after reconnecting the battery and had the same results. What's going on? has anyone experienced this?

BTW - How do you bleed the air out of the intercooler system? Is there something to look for to make sure all the air is out?

they tell you the exact amount to add (2200ML) so you will know when you're done bleeding it. also apparently the pump sounds different too. |

The pump runs when IGN is on, and also continues to run for about 30 secs after you turn it off.

A timed delayed relay wouldn't surprise me as I think it would be a good idea to help prevent shingling or whatever the term would be for screw type compressor. And I'm sorry that this is gonna come off as being a jerk, but I've got to ask if you're sure that's done intentionally, or if anyone can say they also see the same thing?
