We'll definitely get these up as soon as we get everything squared away.

We'll try to go back and get these numbers for you guys soon. We wanted to hop on the WMI tuning from the get go and not waste too much time tuning as the numbers are only preliminary.

As you all can see, we don't play around when it comes to R&D. We've already made over 350 dyno pulls on our shop car alone with less than 1,600 miles on it.

Or do you attribute that loss to the exhaust leaks and tuning?
Good observation. I can assure you that we would not leave things as they are. We will release the final numbers once we're done with everything. Again, we wanted to show some WMI numbers to give people a rough idea of what to expect in terms of peak power. There is still likely more power to be made.

Once we get everything straightened out, the nice torque curve in the midrange will be back.

This will happen sooner or later as will dyno numbers off of a Dynojet so that we can compare apples to apples.

this might be the solution for us 91 octane people because it's way more convenient than looking for e85 stations in CA
BTW, you can run meth easily with unichip software. You can also control boost throughout the RPMs at any level, just like with ECUtek. I imagine they should have meth control available also via ECUtek

I don't want to start a piggyback vs ECUTek war, because we don't have an interest in promoting or disparaging any product beyond going with what we need to make our turbo system work properly and to maintain perfect driveability.

A piggyback will not work properly beyond a very low power forced induction tune without using it in conjunction with an ECUTek flash.

If you're using it for just meth control, then that would be fine.

Well, color me amazed for not getting flamed for my previous post. And thanks PTuning for testing the WMI. I'm really excited to see where this goes as the 91 octane here is like American beer, or screwing in a canoe.

Would you mind sharing what you're using to control the WMI?

I read through the whole thread and I am liking what I see.

You guys mention working on an airbox. Do you intend to create something closed that pulls air from the bumper?

We were using an AEM WMI system running from a custom made bench mounted rig. This is used for dyno purposes only. We've since built a custom reservoir holder and pump mount for our FR-s using various components.

We'll have pics up of our WMI set-up soon. We will produce and likely release this plug and play WMI system even before our turbo system. We're testing it this weekend at a local high speed autocross.

Yes, that's correct, we're still working on an airbox that will draw in air from the factory location, but without the use of the tiny snorkel.
