Promotion exam, technical test, satisfaction survey, it doesn't matter. The questions can be included in anything that you fill out. Did they shred the paper after the machine spit outa number? If not you have no idea who may have got it next. Just because they don't tell you they are profiling doesn't mean they are not.
Not paranoid ramblings or conspiracy theory here. I have done the work and this sounds a whole lot like it.
Of course I could be totally wrong and they may just have screwy questions, it is the Air Force after all.

I suppose it wouldn't surprise me if certain questions were marked for unofficial review, although that isn't how our promotion system works. Or at least, not the enlisted system. I could see it being an official thing for command-level positions. I think the AF just likes to make off the wall questions to fuck with people. That honestly sounds like something I would do.

Final Decision!

I didn't want to make a new thread about this, and search feature didn't help at all. Since knowledgeable regulars (in both age and experience) post here, thought I'd ask here instead.

After mulling around for a few hours about which color I'd enjoy for the next 200,000 miles, I decided to go with Hot Lava. I have not seen one in person so I figured "why not?" Furthermore, don't really see any shade of orange cars around either.

Found 4 dealerships that have them in stock, with 1 having 3! This is where I need help. One of them (about 15 minute drive from my house) is selling it for $855 off MSRP. It may not seem like much but that's 50 hours worth of work at my current wage.

I suspect why they are selling it for less is because it has 31 miles on it. Most likely, it has been test driven by multiple perspective buyers. Thinking back to when I test drove the FRS a month ago, I was hitting it pretty hard and the salesdude was powersliding every corner. Should I be concerned at all with this? I know there's the warranty if anything were to happen but I can't shake the feeling of "what did they do to this car?"

By the way, the other ones I'm looking at all says 4 miles. Thanks in advance!

Unless they were doing tire-roasting burnouts or slipping the clutch at 60 mph, there's not a lot they can do to break the car in 31 miles. If it worries you though, then get the one with 4 miles.

Hoooray I win!
31 miles is well within the regular travel that some cars have to do just being shipped. May never have been test driven at al.

You won't regret your choice. The Lava looks way better in person than in pics. It can be 5 colours all at once depending on the lighting.

when I bought my car I just went on truecar.com. the dealer I bought my car wasn't a "truecar dealer" but I told him if he wanted to sell the car he would give it to me at that price. period end of story. he agreed, I went down signed the paperwork and they went to pick up my car. so very easy and simple.

Thanks guys for the replies. I'll go to that place first since it's really close to my house.

Sorry about the MILF, any chance you can get her number for when she comes back to town?

Or you can stalk her on Facebook.

31 miles??? at a dealership?? What could go wrong? Go for the best price. As you have said, you have a warranty.

BTW, I love my Hot Lava FR-S. In sunlight the color really pops. Welcome to Team Hot Lava.

you guys think tv prices will drop more in the coming months? because this semi-local electronics store is running a special on a LG 60" 4K Ultra HD 120hz for $999.00

I'm having a hard time not jumping all over it.
