Yeah, that's why they tell new drivers that you are supposed to keep 2 or 3 car lengths (full car, not a smart car!) between you and the car in front. People who give that excuse either took their eyes off the road or was following too close.

I thought it was the 2 second rule? The faster you go the more distance your supposed to keep.

Then again when im late to class that becomes more like the 1/2 second rule, with some extremely choice words for those who dont move out of the fast lane when a faster car comes up behind you...so many americans would be killed on the autobahn.

The problem with leaving sufficient space in traffic is that people keep moving into your space and you effectively work your way backwards through the pack. I'll even admit to doing it myself. If I need to get over to make an exit and someone has left three car lengths open, I'm taking one of them.

But yes the rule they teach in student driving and drivers ed courses (being that i've had a few tickets, classes are a must to reduce points) teach you a three second rule between the car in front and your car. Nobody abides by this unless taking a driving test.

how innapropriate is it for me to hit on the Vice President of National Accounts for one of my biggest vendors? she's a bit of a milf to. if I had to guess I'd say she's 40-42max. nice sorta latina looking broad.
